On-Campus Meals

Houston Campus : A cash cafeteria is provided for all students who wish to have lunch on campus. Because Middle School students leave campus before lunch, they may not leave campus without a parent or guardian.

Students who wish to leave campus for lunch must have parental permission. Permission forms will be mailed with enrollment packages and must be signed by the student and their guardian.

Performance Days (Houston campus only): For a nominal charge (usually $2 or $3 dollars), AFA will provide evening meals for students who wish to remain on campus until a given performance that occurs on campus. Students will be asked to pay for their meal during theory and elective classes the day before and day of the performance.

Beaumont/Southeast Texas: Lunch is provided on the Vincent Middle School campus free of charge through the generosity of the Beaumont Independent School District.

2008 Holiday Schedule

In observance of the Independence Day holiday, AFA will be in session for a half day only on Thurday, July 3. Classes will be dismissed at 12:00 noon. Students who wish to remain on campus for lunch may do so.

The AFA campus will be closed on Friday, July 4.

All classes will resume on Monday, July 7.
