Summer Music Festival: Vocal Artist Intensive

Are you considering pursuing music as a classical vocalist in college, possibly as a career? The AFA Vocal Artist Intensive provides tools, training, and experiences appropriate for vocalists who are focused on developing themselves as young artists in a positive, supportive environment.

This Intensive (limited to 10 students) is led by Teaching Artists with diverse experience in performance and education who are focused on sharing their breadth of knowledge with young musicians. Participants can expect instruction and experiences with the following during the Intensive: solo voice (lessons & studio), diction, movement, vocal health, mental health and wellness, college & career, collaborations with instrumentalists, listening sessions, performances, and so much more.

District Transportation Partnerships:

Through partnership with AFA, select school district Fine Arts departments in the area will provide bus transportation between a central location in their respective districts and AFA for students enrolled in their districts. April 1st update: Fort Bend ISD, Klein ISD, and Lamar Consolidated will offer transportation for this entire session; CyFair ISD will offer transportation the week of June 24th only.
